What it contains?

Trichoderma viridi which is a natural soil fungus and hence the organic biological antifungal treatment is done using these.

How does it work?

Trichoderma Viride Fungal Biocontrol Agents is the potential antagonistic fungus which prevents the crops from diseases viz. Root rots, wilts, brown rot, damping off, charcoal rot and other soil borne diseases in crops.

What should do?

First loosen the soil. Then add a tsp of Trichoderma viridi to the soil. Remove all the affected leaves

Spray Pseudomonas Fluorescence or Trichoderma viridi on the remaining plant and stubs. The new leaves that are going to be formed will be free of Fungus. Make sure plant get sufficient light and good air circulation.

Trichoderma viridi is a soil fungi and work on different or same organisms in different conditions...they help in protecting the soil.

These can protect parasitic fungal growth and also checks Nematode infestation too to a great extent.

Direct sun can kill these. So mulching is needed.

Sugarcane, Pulses, Oilseeds, Cotton, Vegetables, Banana, Coconut, Oil palm, Chilies, Lime, Coffee & Tea, Arecanut & Rubber, Flower crops, Spices, & Contiments etc. ,

When should it be applied?

Trichoderma viridi is available in liquid form and as powder form in one kilo packets .

A 50 ml sachet when mixed in rice kanji (Rice Gruel or Rice Porridge) and then in 10 ltrs of water. Left for a day and then applied to the soil around the root. Will be the best way for the plant to heal from fungal infections. After 15 days repeat the same with  TRICHODERMA VIRIDE .We normally recommend both Pseudomonas and Trichoderma to be used once in 15 days alternatively for healthy growing of plants.
